Italian street artist Vincenzo Magno (ViM) has painted a cow by Kuchajda lake. The project Kuh-Heide! is presented by Bratislava Street Art Festival in cooperation with the Bratislava-Nové Mesto city district.
The work was made in October. ViM brought spray paint to a piece of concrete sticking out of the ground on the lake shore and turned it into a cow lying in the grass. The eye is painted in fine detail.
The project name plays on the name of the lake. Kuchajda comes from Kuh-Heide, German for a cow pasture, and cows really did graze there once. So the cow is back at the place the lake takes its name from.
Vincenzo Magno is an Italian street artist known for hyperrealistic portraits. For the festival he painted the memorial mural of Milan Lasica and Július Satinský on Dunajská street, and he turned a transformer station at Ostredky in Ružinov into a sleeping deer. You can read more in his artist profile and about the deer in our earlier news article. His Instagram: @vincenzovim.
